Jesse Case spent 10+ years based in Chicago as a composer, producer, pianist and musical director - logging many hours on both sides of sound boards at some of the best studios in the world and countless DIY living room recordings. He discovered that the make-or-break element of creating and recording quality music is not the quality of the gear or the room or even of the musicians doing the playing, but rather the quality of the experience itself.

So when the opportunity came to custom-build his own studio, the quality and uniqueness of the experience was first and foremost in mind. Both in recording and production services, in-person and remotely, Outsider Audio exists to foster unfettered, unlimited, and efficient creativity.

The barn itself is one of the biggest live rooms in Illinois,

A large “dead room” big enough for a full band, vocal booths, an amp room, and other features make it an incredibly versatile space - custom-built from the ground up for pristine acoustics and recording quality.

There’s also a large and comfortable loft space upstairs, and multi-day sessions include lodging.
